There are so many sites telling you ten step processes to reset your Fire TV remote when it suddenly stops working and will only turn the TV on and off.
The fastest way to fix it is this way:
- Download the FireTV app to your phone;
- Connect app to your FireTV by following the instructions;
- Navigate to Setting -> Bluetooth Devices -> Add a new remote; and
- Press the Home button on your remote to pair.
That’s it. I’ve used this twice now. Use the virtual remote to add the physical remote.
